Ioannis N. Rapanos
CEO of FORTUNE Group S.A.
With many years of expertise in the construction industry, FortuneGroup SA's founder, Ioannis N. Rapanos, is the pioneering spirit who has set the firm on the route to success as managing director and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ioannis N. Rapanos, born in Athens in 1983, originates from Planitero, a small village near the historical town of Kalavryta in the Peloponnese, where he spent his childhood. He was an exceptional student in school and subsequently at university, with a restless mind, and he carved an upward path, eventually developing into an active and energetic businessman in the construction sector through leadership roles. His career began in 2004, alongside his studies at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. Then he assumed control of the family construction business, with his main vision being to make it sustainable in the context of the new demands of the 21st century and to position it as one of the leaders in the specific field. From the very first years, his approach focused on building strong management teams by leveraging international best practices in corporate governance and business ethics and adapting them to the internal structures and operations of his company. In 2010, he entered the real estate sector, emphasizing the needs of individuals and high- net-worth companies, carrying out construction mainly in Athens and Mykonos. Then, thanks to his ability to identify the correct growth prospects, promote innovative concepts, and expand his corporate presence in other areas, he also became active in tourism and technology, as well as in the safe deposit box rental industry, even recommending the first greek company licensed by the Bank of Greece.
